MeqCapital is an independent “best of breed” House. We pride ourselves on our independence and that we do not have a propriety Fund Manager in our group. The needs of our clients are of the utmost importance, hence we choose the best combination of Investment Managers according to the risk tolerance and particular requirements of our clients.
We analyse a combination of investment products from different Investment Houses and seek to advise on asset allocation, manager selection and portfolio construction to deliver the most appropriate risk-adjusted portfolio for our clients according to their individual needs.
MeqCapital has a formal arrangement with four Asset Managers and two Stock Broking firms to provide us with research. The research covers macro economic and security specific information. The Asset Managers are Allan Gray, Coronation, Investec and Prudential Portfolio Managers. The Stock Brokers are Investec and BOE.
We believe our holistic approach is tax efficient and our recommendations will achieve our clients’ investment goals within their risk tolerance.
Quarterly meetings are held with our clients to discuss their investments and its performance. Ultimately, we view ourselves as business partners with our clients rather than simply a service provider.
