Auditing
The Auditing together with the Accounting practice, form the core of the LDP Group since they serve as the platform for the identification of any client needs which can best be served by the other specialist units within the group.
The Auditing Centre houses more than 35 trainee accountants and six audit managers, all of whom report to a responsible group of five directors.
Responsibilities of this division include the following
- Completion of clients’ yearly audits (GAAS)
- Set-up of financial statements (GAAP) and
- Completion of tax returns.
Audits are performed in accordance with the “International Standards on Auditing”, as dictated by the South African Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors (IRBA).
An ongoing training programme, in conjunction with lecturers at the University of Stellenbosch, ensures that personnel in the auditing division are kept up to date with the latest developments in their field.
